The Performance Evaluation Portfolio Program (PEPP)

Description of the Program

The Performance Evaluation Portfolio Program (PEPP) started in Fall 2002. PEPP is designed to demonstrate students’ business knowledge and skills and in turn help the School meet its mission of providing quality undergraduate education in business administration to traditional and non-traditional students, leading to successful careers.

PEPP is comprised of assignments that enable the student to illustrate how they have learned to use information to make and communicate business decisions.  Assignments will include software applications, marketing proposals, financial analysis, economic analysis, marketing plans, Gantt charts, and forecasting.  Upon graduation, PEPP can be a valuable marketing tool in career initiation and/or enhancement.

Student Responsibilities

Students enrolled in business classes that have PEPP assignments will be required to post revised assignments onto iWebFolio, an electronic portfolio management system. Students enrolled in courses with PEPP assignments are required to purchase a yearly license for access to iWebFolio. The yearly license provides each subscriber with an electronic portfolio that is portable and versatile. For instance, during job search, students may give access to all or part of their electronic portfolios to interested employers. iWebFolio’s portability allows subscribers to continue to use it beyond their graduation from CCSU.

Student Instructions

Step-by-Step instructions for purchasing a license and developing your portfolio are available online. The instructions are password-protected. Contact your instructor or The HUB for the user name and password to access the instructions.
