Clayton College & State University Business Students,

This website serves two primary purposes:

1. to provide easy access to the services provided by the Office of Student Advisement in the School of Business, and 
   
2. to aid students with skills assessment, career planning, and development

A key factor in student success is having a sound educational plan which guides students in making decisions about the specific courses to take and when to take them.  With this educational plan, students will also have an idea of when they will complete their degree requirements for graduation.  The Office of Student Advisement, located in the School of Business, is staffed by professional academic advisors who are available to assist students with the development of their educational plans. The educational plan is based on students' personal and career goals, test scores, high school and prior college course work, and current lifestyles.  A recommended course of study is developed for each student to use as a guide for course selection while attending CCSU.

Career development and decision-making are processes that will be repeated several times during your professional career. As research shows, the average professional changes jobs at least five times during his/her career. To be competitive in today's job market, you must be committed to continuously developing the skills and attitudes that employers are seeking.
