Marketing Minor
Clayton State University students are invited to enhance their degree program with a minor in Marketing. The minor is met through successful completion of the following requirements (18 Hours):
REQUIRED COURSES (15 Hours)
ECON 2106: Principles of Microeconomics (3 hours)
Application of microeconomics principles to economic problems; the theory of production, market structures, income distribution, government regulation and business, labor organization, and international trade. Pre-Requisites: MATH 1101 or 1111 or higher (D) or equivalent scores on the CSU Math Placement test.
MKTG 3101: Principles of Marketing (3 hours)
An introduction to the activities involving the exchange of goods, services, and ideas for the satisfaction of human wants. The role that the marketing function plays in the determination of policies and strategies relating to product, price, channels of distribution, and promotion is extensively examined. Pre-Requisites: ACCT 2101 or TECH 3111 or BUSA 3111 or BSUR 3111 or HCMG 3112 or HSCI 2111 or ECON 2105 or ECON 2106 (all pre-requisite courses require the grade of a C or higher)
