Knowledge Retention Assessment
Dear Student:
Your success in a course depends on many factors. One of those is the degree to which you have retained the minimum basic knowledge from prior courses needed for the course. The more knowledge you have retained from prior requisite courses, the better prepared you will be for grasping the materials of the course that you are about to take. Accordingly, as part of the course policy, you will be taking a short test on the first day of class in several business courses (please see the list in the below). The objective is to provide you with timely feedback on your readiness to continue in the course and, if needed, guidance on appropriate actions. The test grade will not affect your grade in the course. Some instructors even grant bonus points based upon your performance on the test.
