What is my catalog year?
Your catalog year is determined by the year you entered Clayton State University as a pre-business student. For example; if you were admitted to Clayton State University as a pre-business student fall semester 2003 your catalog year is 2003-04. If you entered Clayton State University under another major and changed it later to pre-business your catalog year would be determined by the semester you declared your major as pre-business. For example; you started Clayton State University fall semester 2003 as an integrative studies major and then spring semester 2005 you changed your major to pre-business your catalog year would be 2004-05.
If you stopped out of Clayton State for longer than two academic years, then you automatically fall under the most current catalog.

Will dropping a class affect my financial aid?

When do I register for courses?
Registration dates are set in advance according to the academic calendar. Each semester there is a time period set aside for students to register for the upcoming semester. Time tickets windows are arranged by the Registrars Office. Go to your DUCK record to find your registration time ticket.
Why do I get a pre-requisite error message when I try to register?
This message is an indication that you have not met the pre-requisite(s) required to take the course(s) for which you are trying to register. If you have not met the pre-requisite(s), you can not take the class. Every once in a while the registration system will not recognize a course taken at another university as fulfilling the pre-requisite.
