Who we are

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a partnership program between the U.S. Small Business Administration and colleges and universities from around the state, working together to provide consulting, training, and applied research to Georgia's entrepreneurs. The SBDC office at Clayton State University serves new and existing businesses in Clayton, Fayette, Henry and Spalding Counties.

Prior to joining the SBDC, Kyle Hensel held various management positions within the retail industry including Wal-Mart and several other large and small retailers. He also was an instructor at Georgia Southern University where he taught courses in the areas of marketing, retailing, and management. He has consulted with many for-profit and not-for-profit companies and associations. His interests are in the areas of retailing, marketing, market research, advertising and logistics.

Donna has 24 years of experience in financial cost management, business plan development, financial budgeting and analysis and tax preparation. A significant portion of her corporate experience has been in the telecommunications industry at MCI/WorldCom, Sprint, GTE and Concert Global Communications. Donna also has owned her own small business with responsibility for all business functions.
